Can you please describe a Russian Join?  That way we all will know  what or 
which one you are talking about.[including me]  I have heard of it,  but 
not sure how it is done.

I love making blankets from scrap yarns. I often toss  them into a basket 
and 
just start pulling out. I do this with the kk loom  but more so with 
crocheting. I make a six sided granny square and it comes  out super  cool.
