Aw Riverwoman hugs.... Don't worry there will be another sewing machine that will come into your life.... Just have someone watch the auctions, grage sales or sale adds. I bought one sewing machine a 1956 modle with cabnet and four drawers for only $10 and the top of it is really nice. Keep your chin up... CarolAnn
