[Nfb-krafters-korner] let it snow

Hi Terry P and whoever else is reading this,

I found some red and cream thick and quick yarn at my local Wal-Mart, which
I used for my Xmas treat bag. my local Wal-Mart had no pumpkin or Xmas green
in stock. I bought the snow white in Bernat Softee Chunky for the snowman
from yarnsupply.com. they probably have green but honestly I did not check,
since I still have red left over from my treat bag for the snowman's scarf
and hat. I have a Michaels here, but the prices are high except in the
bargain bin. So I did not try to buy yarn there for my projects. I like to
shop online a lot because I can get a better choice of products and colors
that way. however, walmart.com does not sell yarn, I went to the local store
for that. the resource list on this groups page has some great sites for
yarn, I have checked them out, some prices better than others, need to shop
around some. Yarnsupply.com had the white for$2.89. I wanted to buy a dozen
yarns at least, but restrained myself!
Unfortunately, before I'd checked out that site, I'd purchased some black
thick and quick for slippers and my husband's hat from fabric.com for $6.98!
ouch! Pays to shop around!

Talking about snow men, I went to Michaels and in the thick and quick yarn,
could not find any white, Christmas green, red, or orange. Where did you
get the colors for your pumpkin bag or Christmas bag? I did find an off
white. By the way, this is the same yarn, I have been calling rug yarn and
using for my Whozit and tactual letters.
All I could find were, maybe hat colors.

Wow a lighted snowman from Teresa and nifty knitter snowman and a knit
snowman, are we predicting a bad 2012?
