I sent the message below to Vickie London. I used the e-mail in her e-mail. Some how it got rejected.
Vickie, can you please reply and give me your correct e-mail address. The only thing I can come up with is that her server is down, but the message said something about the kk corner. I sent it directly, how strange!

I have a question about the patern, below. I tried it out and if you do all 14, double rows, cast off and sew op the bell, you are at the bottom. What did I do wrong. To tighten the bell and make the loop and attatch the bell, I should end up at the top, when finishing the stitching. When turing it inside out, does the curve curve out? Just making sure I am doing it right. It did not curve out the whole four stitches of the perl. Is this right, just two I think. If I am doing it right, it sure is easier then the kk bell!

Terry P.
Thanks for any help or advice.

Yes you can knit a bell. The pattern I have says to cast on 14 stitches with size 6 needles. Knit the first row. Row 2: knit the first 10 stitches and purl the last 4. Repeat these 2 rows until there are 14 ridges. Bind off and sew the cast on and bind off edges together. Then gather the top, the ridges together. When you turn the bell right side out, the purl edge will sort of curl in to be the bottom of the bell. You can tie on a ribbon or something on the inside to hang the bell on a tree. I have even tied little jingle bells inside. My kitten that I used to have loved playing with these bells.
