I have told Joyce that I can teach a couple of clay classes beginning in
January. We will work out the dates and times for them. We will have the
discussion/s first, and then do the classes after that. I do plan to begin
with a class in making a free form plate or bowl, and we will be doing
impressions in it. These are so beautiful and when we schedule the class I
can post some photos of some I have made for those who can see them via Zoom
Text or some other type of enlargement. I think this is the perfect class
for us to begin with, and then if there is more interest, I have some other
really beautiful pieces aw can make together in additional classes. I am
excited to begin. I plan to photograph all the steps as I made a piece and
post them on an "album" on Facebook so that you can read/see the steps
involved and you can have these as your class notes. I'll be making some
examples this fall, photographing all the steps as I do them, and posting
them when we have the class. How is that?
I think that Face Book can replace the tapes we formerly had of classes -
with facebook we can post instructions, and even photos of the steps, or
even video instructions there. I think it is the perfect way for us to share
the projects for anyone who wants to do that.
