Not sure about rubber, but the felt board works the same and the necessary
components can be purchased at any craft store or Wal-Mart.

There was someone on this list that had made these drawing boards. It had
a rubber type pad glued to like a clipboard. You used a pen and could draw
or a sighted person could trace over a printed picture and after using the
pen and board you could feel the flip side as it was raised enough to feel
it.

I would draw simple things on a sheet of printer paper and the Princesses
would color in Grandma's pictures.

It could be used the opposite for a blind child.

Is that person still on the list? I know someone that would like to
purchase a few of these boards. I got 2 at the time for the 2 oldest, but
they stay at Grandma's house.
