Hi Ninn,

Too bad we don't live close so we could visit together and have some fun
conversations - you sound like a really FUN and CREATIVE person that I would

enjoy knowing so much. I am not a "crafter" so I really don't understand a
crafter's thought life - I use CRAFT techniques and materials to make ART.
That is where my mind always is - being the inner child and playing with
stuff.

My fondest memories of childhood MUD was during and after rain storms - how
GOOOOOOD it feels when you are standing in a mud hole and squishing my toes
about in it feeling the smooth soft ooooozzzzeeee of it. OH, My, I love that

feeling. I love the image of you as a child oozing in the mud - so funny!
We are all still KIDS at heart, I hope! Without the inner child, how could
we make art???? It would be sterile and meaningless without the sense of
PLAY in it, I think.

Here is something wonderful I read this morning:
" All of life is deciding. You are deciding.with every truth you embrace,
with every thought you birth, with every emotion you express, with every
experience you produce.you are deciding Who You Are and Who You Choose to
Be. Every act is an act of self-definition." by Neale Donald Walsh

I think he captures who we are as artists - we DECIDE to BE who we are every

day. I am playing in BEADS today, how about you? I worked early thig
morning on three MAGIC SPIRIT BOXES in my studio - made from CLAY - and now,

will be working in beads for the rest of the day. I am making BLACK AND GOLD

STEELER necklaces that I will sell at some holiday markets in November.
