No, she meant to put the tape on the loom to mark your place. some people
use an anchor peg on the outside of the loom to start, while others just
slipknot on to the loom and use the slipknot to begin. If it is a round loom
they are using they may lose their place if they do not have an anchor peg
to know where they began.
