[Nfb-krafters-korner] loom knitting tip!

While I am doing a scarf, on a round loom, I use the pegs, to the side of my work, as if they were anker pegs. When doing an end stitch, I stretch my working yarn around 2 or 3 pegs to give my work some stability to be able to stitch off the end stitch. I find, usually the anker peg is to shallow to use anyway accept as a marker for where you started.

So would you use the tape to also anchor the yarn then?

No, she meant to put the tape on the loom to mark your place. some people use an anchor peg on the outside of the loom to start, while others just slipknot on to the loom and use the slipknot to begin. If it is a round loom they are using they may lose their place if they do not have an anchor peg to know where they began.
