Hi. Terry B is using Gmail. By default in Gmail, you won't see your messages
on lists. I haven't used Gmail in several years because I got tired of
losing messages and/or receiving them several days after they were sent, so
I don't remember how to fix it, but it's definitely a Gmail thing in this
case. Because this list is hosted by the Mailman software though, I believe
there is a way to set things so that you can receive a notification when
your message is posted to the list. If this is something that you really
want, I'll see if I can find the option.

You can not see your own post due to your email service. I think you can
try changing something. Not sure in where you signed up for our list or
something in your email service.
Come on folks help me here. I don't know. There is also something you
need to do if you want your last email that you are answering to be at the
bottom of your email.
I know I am not a very good help here.

Dear Susan,
Thanks for your imput. I am working on slowly getting use to not looking
at my work. It takes time but I think it will all work out.
Not changing the subject, but how come can I not see my own post?

Hello Terry B.,
My name is Susan and I live in Virginia. I have been crochetting for 41
years both before and after losing my sight. My mother taught me when I
was
9 and I lost my sight when I was 15 and that was when I learned knitting
from a family friend. I have been blind for nearly 35 years and it has not
slowed me down in the least.
If your RP is getting worst, and you are currently crochetting like you
are, then practise knitting with your eyes closed and then check it out
with what sight you have. Sometimes going to a few needle sizes larger
than you usually use will help you feel what you are doing a bit better.
Just don't stop doing what you love to do! LOL
Susan
