[Nfb-krafters-korner] true knit stitch hat

I am the person who mentioned making the true knit hat. I used the same
bulky wool yarn I had used for the chevron/shell/seed stitch scarf. The true
knit stitch is not the same as e-wrap although I began with e-wrap to make
the brim. I would be happy to help. My number is below and my direct email
is nevafairchild at verizon.net but bear in mind that I am no Tanya. I know 4
or 5 stitches and have used them on various types of looms. The flat knit
hat was a surprise to me. It feels like corduroy on the outside and very
smooth and flat on the inside. I finished it so it could be worn either way
although I think it would leave lines on the forehead if it were worn inside
out. .

If the true knit is the same as the E wrap I've done it. II did it with a
thick yarn that almost seems like 3 or so thin strands somehow stuck
together. To make an adult hat that was a tiny bit too tall as I was knew it
took 1 and a half scanes.

I hear you are pretty go at all of this would you be willing to help me?
Tanya has seemed to have disappeared. She said she would, but isn't
responding to emails or anything. I hope she is ok.
