[Nfb-krafters-korner] Introduction

Hi Lisa, welcome. I am new to this list as well. In fact, I'm wanting to 
learn to sew and create my own garmets. I was tought how to crochet and 
knit, but lost interest because I couldn't see what I was doing. Now I want 
to try again, but my teacher doesn't have the time and I'm a "hands on" 
learner.

Hi.  My name is Lisa
Lumumba and I live in Richmond, VA.  I am
totally blind.  I lost my sight going on
seven years ago.  I want to   learn how to sew and crochet. I want to learn
how to sew well enough to make my own garments.
I did not know how to do either before I lost my sight but I am a hard
worker and I have a strong determination to learn.  So any help will be 
greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
