[Nfb-krafters-korner] Question about Beading Needles

I recently bought some of these needles from fusion beads. Since they were
only under a buck each, I ordered 10, and they threw in an extra one for
free. My experience is that these needles like to bend and get out of shape
with a lot of use, so I like to have many on hand in case one breaks or is
bent to the point of not being usable.
I wish I had more time to spend on krafts -- I am one to put so much on my
plate at one time that I never get around to much of it.
Happy krafting.

Now that I see your questions, the Big Eye Needle is my suggestion. It is
sharp on both ends, so be aware. The whole length of the needle is the eye,
and I use a fingernail or my teeth to separate it and then my fingers to
keep it apart while I slip the Fire Line thru. I buy them in packs of 3 at
the beading shop or at shows. I am sure they can be found on-line as well.

I am hoping someone can help me here. My question is:

When doing bead embroidery, what size and brand beading needle do you get
when you are using Fireline 10 pound and Fireline 3 pound?

For the 3 pound I have been using Size 12 Beading needle but it is so hard
to thread - and so many times I have to eventually wait for some help from
my husband for that. Any suggestions?

Today I am using the 10 pound Fireline because I wanted to use gem stone
chips - I finally gave up on that because the needle eye would not fit
thfough the chips holes...so I adjusted and am doing my DNA spiral rope by
using 2 different colors of size 6 seed beads - that works fine, but what
can I use that would have a smaller eye, and still be able to use the 10
pound fireline?

Help.....? Anyone?????
