[Nfb-krafters-korner] life changes

I very seldom even think of the losses. It is rare that I do. and, really I
am so glad to be not in the academic grind any longer. I feel free and so
thankful that I can work in my studio every day and do creative things any
time I want to - which is all the time.

I am so glad that when my colleagues are slaving over the final grades every
semester, I am free of that. We get together and laugh over it. My former
colleagues at the college have kept in very good touch with me and we go out
to lunch together and have fun as always. there really isn't anything that I
miss doing. I am still an academic and sight has nothing to do with that. I
still have the same passions for the arts and literature as I have always
had, and I still find great joy in research, travel, and great
conversations. Lynda
