[Nfb-krafters-korner] Monday Night Chats

Hello Joyce and all,

I am certain that each one of us has our own reasons for not attending
Monday night chats. I will share mine for what it is worth.

I do not attend chats regularly. I come to a chat if I am interested in the
particular topic of the week, and/or if I have the supplies needed for the
project of the evening. I like the idea that there is a different topic
every week instead of just a general discussion. Living on the east coast 8,
8-30 or nine all work for me.

I would like some suggestions of how to get more folks involved in the  
Monday Night Chats.  We have changed Monday Night Chats from just meeting
and 
chatting to have discussions with guest speakers.  We have done Knit  
togethers and even Crochet togethers.  We have done mini classes like
Origami, 
small beeded pins, Knifty Knitter projects, etc.  We changed the  time to
see 
if we could get more folks farther out west to join us.  We  post our chats 
on Facebook and Twitter.
 
I just wished more folks would show up for the Monday Night stuff.
 
The first thing that is on our website is the list of Monday Night chats  
and the phone number.
 
I have been busy the last few weekends so I have been sending out reminders 
 about Monday Night on Fridays.
 
So what would you suggest to make folks more interested and  participate?  
Should we try changing the time say to 9 PM Eastern?  I  am open for 
suggestions.  Please let me know.
