[Nfb-krafters-korner] Question about knitting needles and flying

I have always traveled with various types of circular needles, and have not
had a problem. Even when I traveled to Cairo Egypt 2 years ago for work, it
was not an issue. I often take my cheaper needles, or take a small padded
envelop with my address written on it, and stamps not yet stuck to the
envelop. If TSA told me I could not take my needles with me, then I would
have to get out of line, put my needles in the envelop, put the stamps on it
and find a mailbox in the airport. I do keep a second set in my checked
bag.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Question about knitting needles and flying

I've taken up knitting just in the last month (as mentioned in the last
post.) I'm about to leave again for another month on the road. I'll be
spending a lot of time in airplanes and airports and want to take my
knitting with me. Will TSA give me any hassle about the needles?
