Joyce,
Hi, I didn't mean this group didn't talk about soap, just I haven't seen any
messages in the very short time I have been subscribed. Thanks for the
resource.
I have not decided if I want to do cold process CP or hot process HP soap
making. I am going to do a few batches of each to see which I like better.
There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.
I have the majority of my supplies in hand, or on order. I hope to make my
first batch in the next week or two.
One of my main ingredients is still hanging in a garage waiting to be
processed, so I will have to get that taken care of first. Then after I get
the tallow done, I am making my own soap molds. Which won't take long to do,
but it is something I hope to get done soon to.
Thanks,
Michael

There has been talk regarding soap making and I have done a basic melt and
pour soap class in the past.
Please let us know what type of soap you are interested in making?
I will also forward to this list a fantastic soap site and if you give them
a call they are great and willing to help you out.
You need to decide what type of soap and process you want to work with and.
There is a lot of information on their website. Recipes, tips and tricks,
all types of good stuff
Brambleberry Soap is their name.

Hi,
I am one of the new people to the list. I am interested in soap making, but
I have not seen none of that going on here so far. I also do woodworking.
I
have done latch hook a long time ago, and thought of maybe doing some of
that again.

I would like to send our new list members a welcome. We have had at least
3 new people join the list this week and a few more since the holidays.
So please do introduce yourselves. Let us know what type of crafting you
are enjoying or would like to learn. Take a look over on our website as
we
have new classes coming up in the next few weeks.
A big welcome to everyone. If you have been lurking and want to send out
a shout, now is the time!
