I love Brambleberry soaps. They are fantastic people that will give you
the time and information that you need. Anne Marie is fantastic with her
descriptions and ideas along with her wonderful recipes. Notice this is
made from one of their many melt and pour soaps! They have a wide selection
to choose from.
They are the only ones that I could find rubber molds from. I love the
guest soap molds and the rubber ones the soaps come out soooo easy from.
The last thing I need to say about Brambleberry Soaps are sign up for their
newsletters with all this great information in and once a month they have
a selection on sale and for like a week you can purchase example January
and February month's sale at one time. I got the email today so I can order
Jan and Feb. sale items from now to Jan. 31. They have monthly scents on
sale along with molds and other things.
Oh yes, did I tell you in each order they will give you an 1/2 oz.
fragrance for free. You either pick it or they will randomly pick one for you.
Didn't you need a 1/2 oz of frragrance for this soap. Ask them to give it
to you for the free sample.
I gave a soap class in the past and I used the melt and pour soap for the
class. I had learned some tips from Anne Marie and when working with it
that help me do the soaps and how to do them without pouring it all over and
what to use to measure the fragrance oils and of cource I sent all my
students to Brambleberry for their supplies.

ONE: Melt 13 ounces of Olive Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base in the microwave
on 30 second intervals until fully melted. Mix in ½ oz of Fresh Bamboo
Fragrance Oil.
TWO: Into a separate small, heat safe container, pour out 1 oz of the
melted soap and mix in 3 mini scoops of Olive Leaf Powder. Mix until there
are very few clumps. Rubbing alcohol will help to break up the clumps. If
the soap starts to cool down too quickly and you are unable to stir, just
pop it back in the microwave for 10 seconds.
TIP: Cover the remaining soap in the large container with plastic wrap.
This will keep the soap warm and prevent a skin from forming on top of the
soap.
THREE: Use the injector tool to fill in the square borders of each
cavity.
Keep the fill line low so none of the soap flows into the bamboo part of
the design. But if you do get a little overflow try using the clean-up
too
or a toohpick to remove the excess soap once it sets-up.
FOUR: Pour out another ounce of the clear soap and add 5 scoops of the
Zeolite Clay. Mix well and reheat if necessary. Then use an injector to
fill in the bamboo and leaves parts of each cavity. Let the soap cool.
Since it’
s such a thin layer it should only take 5-10 minutes.
FIVE: Reheat the remaining Olive Oil soap base if necessary and mix in 4
teaspoons of Bamboo Extract Powder. Mix well until there are no clumps.
Once the soap has cooled down to 130 degrees, spray the first two layers
of
soap with rubbing alcohol then fill each cavity to the top.
