Deasy, Welcome to Krafters Korner.
I have been a member for about 3 or 4 years.
I lost my sight almost 5 years ago. Before that I was a professor of fine
arts and humanities. I make pottery and knit clothing, and do very
intricate bead working.
Before sight loss, I made paintings and woodcut prints mostly.
You will find almost any kind of crafter here on this list. You can find all
the help you want or need, just by letting folks know what you are
interested in learning. Yes, there are classes here, too, and you can take
as many as you want to take.

I have done some classes here. I did an introduction to pottery class, for
information on the different kinds of pottery that can be made. That was a
two night session. I also taught a couple of actual pottery making classes.
One was in how to make an open bowl with a relief design inside of it. The
other was how to make a cylindar vase. And, I have given out instructions
on how to make a lidded box to everyone on the list recently. I like to
share what I do with everyone who is interested.

Tell us what kind of crafting you are most interested in learning. What do
you like?
