Hi all,
Next SATURDAY, I will be teaching a workshop at the Society for Contemporary Craft, Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA. The workshop students will create two works out of low fire terra cotta clay. Workshop is called _Painting With Clay_ but the best part of this is, after the workshop ends, there will be a round table discussion with a group of Pittsburgh doctors who are studying how artists creat art when they are blind. Wish me LUCK! I have learned that one of MY doctors, a low vision specialist, will be participating in this event, too. ( Nervous )

I believe I will have students who have sight loss, in this class. I have never tried to teach art to a blind person before, so I am trying not to be so nervous about it. But then, I thought about the classes I taught here on Krafters=Korner via phone, so I guess I can do it. Still, very nervous about doing it in person - this will be a first for me since I quit teaching 4 years ago.
