Oh, that is a completely different story. Hopefully someone on the list has 
had experience with Janome machines. The only electric machines I've 
threaded are Singer, Kenmore and Brother.

Thanks guys for responding.  Perhaps I didn't make myself clear.  It isn't
the needle that I am having problems with, it is threading  the machine
through all the channels and loops.
