[Nfb-krafters-korner] pre cut squares

Terry, I see nothing negative about pre cut squares except perhaps they are
not your personal color choice. I also see nothing wrong in having someone
cut out squares for me. I admit it It lifts my self confidence to cut my
own but then, The actual piecing and finishing the quilt is far more
important than who cut out the fabric. I don't use a rotary cutter. They
are way too dangerous for any one who has to take blood thinners to work
with. I am fortunate enough to have a safe cutting system so can cut to
my hearts content but really would not miss that part of it if I had someone
to do it for me. I work a lot with just squares and just two colors and
there are hundreds of traditional patterns out there that work well with one
shape and two colors. Like you, and many others, time is an issue. You
will work that out. The main thing is that if quilting gives you
enjoyment, then give it some priority and enjoy life. JoAn----- Original
