[Nfb-krafters-korner] UFOs

My projects for today include putting the binding on two quilts, one started
about Thanksgiving and the other is a quilt started in the thirties by a
friend of mine who died in her ninties90's. She gave me 3 pieced wool tops
from that era and I have finally finished one of them and am thrilled about
that. The third project for today is another quilting project. I am
looking for interesting quilting patterns for a Christmas block and found
one that is strip pieced and makes toy soldiers. I am anxious to make a
sample of it with construction paper to see if it is doable for me as I am
in a block swap with a group and don't want to cut into their fabric unless
I know I can make the block. I probably will not get a lot done as tonight
is quilt guild night . I will probably knit a dish cloth after I get home
as I like knitting late at night when it is quiet and no one here to disturb
me. JoAn
