[Nfb-krafters-korner] pillow case

Hi Dixie,
It is the size and shape of a pillow case to sleep on. The first hem on the open edge is a plain yellow color in my case. Then the little trim piece that you see on expensive cases between the big hem and the actual case is red. Then the case is that fancy print. By lining these pieces up and sewing after rolling the main piece up inside the yellow piece, you have made that seam between the main case and the two trims all at once.

The amazing thing is that when you have made that one seam, you pull the main fabric out of the tube and you have the case ready to sew the side and bottom seams. It was a quick and easy thing to make and quite fancy to look at.
