[Nfb-krafters-korner] Today: Yarn

I found the exact color of Steeler's "gold" which is not really gold but 
more yellow - it is the perfect color. It is Caron yarn, the 1 pound kind. 
It is about 9. for a one pound skein - Out of two skeins (black and gold) I 
got 4 scarves that are 17 stripes (4 inches each).  I am no scarf number 6 
now. These scarves are the Harry Pottery Wizard's scarf, and free 
instructions are at:
http://www.lionbrand.com   The scarf is 42 stitches wide - and after you 
have finished the knitting, you fold the scarf in 1/2 lengthwise and sew it 
together - thus, your stockinette scarf is the same on both sides - very 
very nice effect and easy to do. The yarn is soft.
