[Nfb-krafters-korner] another question about yarn colors

I'm with you in thinking that the 3 colors are twisted together, but I
really do not know.  I have had my eye on the various types of Lion Brand
painterly colors and trying to figure out what I want to make.  I hate
joining colors and weaving in ends.  

This past week one of Lion Brand's free patterns caught my attention,
Mitered Squares Afghan made with Lion Brand® Amazing®.  I like making
mitered squared, but the cost of this yarn for this project comes out to
around $175.  I'm going to compare Amazing to the other painterly yarns they
have and see how much the cost differs.  If I decide that I really like the
pattern, but do not want to tak on the cost of the painterly colors, I'lll
see if I can come up with a way to use solid colored mitered squared.

What about a yarn with a color described as twist? 

For example in the USA hometown yarn 

Mardi Gras
Article: #135-203   UPC: 023032002903
Purple, red, green, and orange twist
Are all these colors twisted together in the strand, or are their sections,
or perhaps only the orange is a twist of colors?   

BTW, no I would not buy this particular color. but many of the painterly
colors in this yarn sound so pretty!
