[Nfb-krafters-korner] Joining A New Ball of Yarn

If you are joining yarn where you are going to have a loose end from the new
yarn, I like to make a slip knot and slide it onto the pinky of my right
hand (working yarn hand) and that helps me keep the same tension on the new
yarn as I had on the old yarn. After about five stitches, I slide the yarn
off my pinky and pull out the slip knot.

Cindy S.
PS This works for both knitting and crochet, and it should work for loom
knitting and possibly other crafts where tension is important.
