Hi,
I agree with Kathy. I have 2 towels patterns almost finished. I did the teddy bear & the pearl heart using the wxtra large rou nd loom with Lion Brand Home Town USA yarn. They came out pretty & very textual. I want to join them to make a baby blanket. My question to the list is what is the best way to do this. I have larned to do the single crochet stitch taking kathy's class. Which would hold up & look the nicest; sewing or crocheting together?
Debbie

Hello all,

Cathy smiling.

I just wanted to let our newcomers know that, no, this is not normally a tech list. Sometimes however, like now, folks get off topic, and at the moment everyone is talking tech. however, be assured that normally we do talk about crafts!

I thought I'd give everyone an update on my own craft adventures.

I am giving double knitting on a long loom a try for the second time. when I tried it last year, I just could not get the hang of it. however, I think I have mastered it now. I have a skein of Homespun Waterfall yarn and have finished about four inches of knitting without error. (Btw, this yarn is textured and very soft, and is in variegated blue shades.)

Tonight I am looking forward to learning how to make a dishcloth on the loom with Tanya. Tomorrow night I am looking forward to teaching folks how to loom knit baby booties.

So, until Joyce can get a chat set up for tech talk, perhaps we should get back to talking about crafts? <smile>

Cathy
