I want to let you know that my Fiber Art piece,  
Girl on a Bench Sees  Visions of Butterflies, 
has been selected to appear in the Hoyt Mid  Atlantic Jureid Exhibition.  
Out of 265 entries, only 56 were chosen for  this show. I am very pleased to 
be one of the 42 artists in this prestigious  show.
 
The exhibtion is open to the public. It will run  from October  9 - 
November 2, 2012. There will be a reception for the  artists to meet the public on 
October 14 from 2-4 pm
The Hoyt Art Center, 124 E. Leasure Avenue, New  Castle, PA  16101.
 
I invite you to see this exhibition.   

Girl on a Bench  Sees Visions of Butterflies
 is a self-portrait of the artist as a  child. I have used fabric, and 
encrusted beadworking with natural gem stones,  mother-of-Pearl, and a vitage 
mirror/photo in this piece.  It is  suspended from a natural branch from the 
woods at my home.
