I like the ribbon idea. It might be cool to use wide ribbon, putting
it on using the measuring technique Joyce suggests and then putting
the braille letters on the ribbon, using its edges as guides to stay
within the ribbon area. This would make for a nice layered,
3-dimensional effect.
