To clarify this a little better to everyone, the beads can be the same  
shape just different sizes.  Example 9  small beads to represent the  ones and 
9 larger beads to represent the tens.
 
You can use different shape beads or different color beads if you  want.  
It is what will work best for you and what beads you can find.
