[Nfb-krafters-korner] Slipping the first stitch - WAS: knitting

It can be used for either.  But my understanding is that it looks like a
braided strand along the edge.  If you are going to be picking up stitches
along an edge that you have used this technique, you have to keep in mind
that there only half as many stitches along that edge.

In the message Annette sent in the directions it said that it creates a
braid o.  Does this show if you were going to sew 2 edges together? or do
you just use this on an edge that isn't sewn?
