If you got 5 - 1/2 yards different print and 1/2 yard for the bow, you
can get 2 wreaths out of this.
Remember if you get a wider ring you will need more strips.
What I did last year for Christmas I got the prints and I got 2 fabrics for
the bows[1 red and 1 green] So Even though they were basically made out
of the same fabric putting a dabble of green in one and a dabble of red in
the other with the bow to coordinate , they had a totally different look.
You need to get the fabric with small prints [no large scenes or too big of
a print] remember the strips are 2 1/2 inch wide. It doesn't matter that
the print will not capture everything in a strip.
This will fit into an envelope that an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper will fit
into. and if they get too wringled you can press them a bit when you get
them back, but I don't think you will worry too much about that.
Same postage both ways will work as going back will be a little less
weight.[only 1 envelope and minus 1 strip of fabric for me from each.
It will depend upon how far away you live from Connecticut for me to get
it and the same amount of time to get back to you. I may be busy on the
weekends especially the last weekend in September][going on a camping trip
with the Brownies in our troop] So give me like 3 days to cut them and get
them back into the mail for you, not counting weekends.
I had done my Christmas ones last year and the first one I did I got the
strips from Keepsake quilting. There was 40 strips in the package.

Joyce,
I am interested in doing this wreath with you in October, and trying to
work
out a time line to get materials. Thanks for sending me the phone number
for
the rings, which I will be ordering shortly. I understand 5 pieces of
fabric, each of 1/2 yards each. I would like you to cut them and send them
back, what is the time line, when should I send them and do you think they
will fit in manila enevelop? And then a self stamped addressed envelope
back, I would think same amount of postage on that also. If you could give
me an idea on time turn around I will know my deadline to getting material
to you, unless you gfeel it would be easier for you to obtain fabric, as a
kit and can give me an idea of cost of kit complete, I probably think that
is better. I await hearing from you on this.
