[Nfb-krafters-korner] Question About Self-Striping Yarn

This will not totally answer your question, but I did a hat in self striping black and white. I did the bottom in e-wrap a row and perl a row. After 10 rows, I did the straight e-wrapp. The self striping can be seen in both patterns, but the design is different. Surprising, both designs look nice together, confermed by a sighted person. I think I still prefer the solid black brim and self striping body hat, I did next. My matching scarf also came out beautiful!

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Question About Self-Striping Yarn

Does anyone know if I can use self-striping yarn for a broken rib or k 2, p 2 ribbing? I love the broken rib stitch but, I’m just wondering if the striping will do it at the right point or if the striping can be seen on a rib stitch.

Regards,

Denise
