Valerie,

Yes, other brands of round looms are fine as long as the looms are large
gauge looms. This means that the pegs are widely spaced and need bulky or
super bulky yarn.

There are many other brands and US sites on which you can buy looms.

One that I have used is Amazon.com

The Darice set:

http://www.amazon.com/Darice-1171-58-Round-Plastic-Knitting/dp/B001GAHFHY/re
f=sr_1_1?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1388372648&sr=1-1&keywords=loom

then there is Genuine Knifty Knitter Round Loom Set with 4 Looms, Hook & Bag
http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Knifty-Knitter-Round-Looms/dp/B003IH8A5E/ref=s
r_1_5?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1388372648&sr=1-5&keywords=loom

then there is the Boye set:
http://www.amazon.com/Boye-3702001001W-Round-Loom-Set/dp/B005VEUNMA/ref=sr_1
_13?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1388373433&sr=1-13&keywords=loom

and here is a Boye flower loom:

http://www.amazon.com/Boye-3707645000WW-Flower-Loom/dp/B005ZHFMSS/ref=sr_1_3
3?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1388373850&sr=1-33&keywords=loom

there are other flower looms but I am not certain how many pegs they have.
Maybe someone else can jump in and suggest other brands of flower looms?

Cathy
