I jish I could have been knitting for 40 years! I wh have been had I been
able to continue in my 20's! I moved away and couldn't find anywhere to
take classes and people thought they had to teach me left-handed knitting.
I've been doing right-handed knitting most of the time. In any case, my
friend, Linda, will check my afghan next Saturday! She thinks I'm probably doing
ok, though! I'm using larger needles for this afghan, but never have used
less than a size 8. I'm not sure my hands can even tolerate the 6's, but one
never knows. In any case, I'm determined to keep going with my knitting!
My hands are better than they had been for a while! My only problem is that
I have to take several breaks so projects will take longer, unfortunately.
I sometimes feel discouraged, but talk myself out of it the best I can! I
think I've got the continental stitch pretty well figured out, but I need a
lot of practice before I will ever be able to say I can do it. Smiles!

Hugs to all and think of me as I continue this project. I want to complete
it at least by May! Smiles!

Hugs
