Terry, now if I had read all the way through my new e-mails, I would have
been able to tell you that those were not my directions and that you were
meaning for the loom and not a pair of circular needles or dp needles. LOL
If you work on your loom as though you count your pegs going off to the
left, 1, 2, and three, then the directions you provided from Cindy are
perfect. If you wrap your pegs going to the right like I do, then the
directions are just written a bit different.
When you bind off, you need to skip the first peg to the right of your anker
peg and wrap the second peg over to your right only. Knit this peg off by
placing the bottom loop up and over the top loop. Now you should have one
loop on the 2nd peg. Move that loop backwards to the left over to the 1st
peg that already has one loop on it. Knit that off. Now you should have
one loop remaining on the 1st peg and nothing on the 2nd peg. Move the loop
from first peg back over to the second peg #2. You should have no loops on
the first peg and one loop on the second peg. Continue on in this fashion.
Wrap peg #3 and knit off. Place the remaining loop over to the left on peg
#2. Knit that off. Move the remaining loop back over to peg #3. Keep
repeating until finished.
Now if I haven't totally confused you, this should work until you have only
one stitch remaining. Then I suppose you can draw your working yarn through
the loop and fasten it off.
