 Thanks a lot.  I love crafts and wish I could teach more.  Maybe when I have more money, I can buy some braille books and teach some looming class.  There does not seam to be much interest in plastic canvas.  I have asked, around, what you would like to learn, but have not heard any responces.

I sure agree with you Jill, about the classes and friendship!!!

I think some of the money is used to run our website and some goes to the National office at National convention.  This group is a steal!  Look how much it would cost you to take a class at a craft store.  Another great thing about this group is that we know how to give directions using terminology that another blind person would understand.  If the first explination does not make sence, then another person usually steps up to the plate and says it the way they understand it.  Getting a second explination can be very helpful.
This is a feature you would not find in a sighted craft class.

I don't know what the dues are used for.  My guess is for administrative costs of running a division of the NFB.  I can tell you what you get from being a paid member.  I have been able to take 15 + classes in less than a years time.  I have had instructers who love crafting as much as I do, and give freely of their time.  I have been given verbal instructions  which have been clear and presented in a blind friendly manner.  I was just telling my afghan class last night that I feel like I have cheated the Krafters Korner for all the classes I have taken and only paid $10!  I enjoy the list no doubt, but I have gained so much by participating in classes, both in knowledge and friendships!  So there is my ten dollars worth!  Lol!
