requirements: Students need to know how to make the basic chain stitch and
the single crochet stitch.

description: This class will be taught over the telephone. It will teach you
how to crochet this set of miniature Winter Wonderland ice skates for your
Christmas tree. Each skate is made flat with an adorable blade made from a
jumbo paper clip at the bottom. To finish, the skates are tied together in a
bow at the top by the laces to hang over a tree branch. Or, each skate can
be used separately to wear as a Christmas pin. 

supplies needed: 
1. Size H crochet hook. 
2. Christmas Glitter yarn, in gold or silver made by Caron. 
3. Two jumbo paper clips in gold or silver. 
4. Scissors. 
5. Yarn needle. 

additional comments: If you are unable to find the Christmas colors of yarn
or paper clips at this time of year that is no problem. Just be sure to have
worsted weight yarn and jumbo paper clips.
