[Nfb-krafters-korner] chemo caps

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine just sent out a plea to her crafty friends for chemo caps
for a woman fighting breast cancer. I was immediately excited about being
able to contribute a few hats, so I went home and got to work knitting one.

But I have a question for you all.

Have any of you needed chemo caps? I know lots of people make things for
charity, but I'm wanting a better perspective. I don't want to make
something just because it's simple, I want it to be really good and I want
it to be something the person will actually love wearing. But I've never
worn a cap against my bare head (except as an infant and I can't remember
that far back, smile). I'm wondering if you have a favorite yarn you found
especially comfortable or a favorite knitting pattern you found made an
especially flattering and comfy hat.
