Convention Grants for Krafters Division Members 2013

The NFB Krafters Division will be offering some modest assistance to paid members who need some financial help to attend the NFB Convention this year in Orlando, FL, July 1-6, 2013.

Grants of up to 300 dollars can be awarded to assist a few members.

If you would like to be considered for this assistance, please write a paragraph explaining how this amount would make it possible for you to attend the Convention and why you want to go.

Clearly, this help must be added to other funds. Please explain other assistance you have available to you in your request.

Those receiving this assistance will be requested to help represent the Krafters Division in the Exhibit Hall Tuesday, July 2 and/or Wednesday, July 3.   Your assistance will also be needed at the Craft Fair Monday afternoon, July 1.

If you need additional information about the convention, you may look in recent issues of the Braille Monitor which is included on the Web Site www.nfb.org. There is also other information about NFB conventions on that Web Site. Or you may contact the President of your NFB state affiliate which is listed under Resources on the same Web Site.

Time is important. Early requests will be given priority. We hope to have these decisions made by April 15. Those who will receive this help will be given a pre-paid credit card at the convention.

Grant award winners will be notified by e-mail unless you tell us a telephone notification is necessary.  Please make sure we have your preferred contact information.
