Hi all,

I just joined the list last night. My name is Paulette Vickery. I live in Louisville Kentucky, where it is cold, wet and nasty today. I am congenitally, totally blind and have been married to a sighted man for almost 40 years. I have 6 grown sighted children, 3 boys and 3 girls. I also have 11 sighted grand children, 7 girls and 4 boys. The oldest is 9 and the youngest is 8 months old. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice as a psychotherapist.

I love krafting! I wish that I could do all krafts. Right now I am pretty good at knitting and crocheting. I am also a 1 person knitting and crochet department for, Seeing It Our Way, a monthly magazine published by Horizons For The Blind.

I am quite disappointed that I missed the towel bunny making group chat last night. Perhaps someone could send me directions or talk me through how to make it. I am interested in learning beading, basket making and plastic canvas. That reminds me, I saw something about a basket class on the website. Is this class or chat coming soon?


Since I am new to the list, I am a bit confused about the classes. I noticed that they seem to be repeated twice in 1 day. Are the group chats also repeated? I can't wait to hear from you, so I will stop this lengthy message and read posts that I have missed. See you on the list. If anyone would like to talk, please feel free to call.
