I found the craft items, but never found the pack of needles.  What are yarn sleves?

I was sharing some info with my baby blanket class last night about discounted craft supplies.  The group said I should share it on the list.  I found it while looking at Horizons selection of books.  I have not purchased any supplies yet, but they seem to have good prices.  The following is from their website:
