You will find if you memorize or feal your sample pin, it is better to do the whole pin and go on to another pin.  This will prevent closing and opening the pin multiple times and maybe losing a bead when reopening.  It can happen!
Glad you like the craft.  The snowflake will be up, most likely, in July.  Cathy posted the supplies for me.
As you can see, I am behind on my e-mails!

Do you mean that you are teaching a class on how to make a safety pin and bead snowflake? Also, I made my beginner beaded safety pin votive yesterday.
It is adorable! I can't wait to make my next one. It is so relaxing to just sit and put the beads onto  the pins in the correct order while I read a book. I strung the beads in an assembly line fashion. First, I made 1 pin in its entirety. Then, when I saw what it was supposed to look like, I put all of the beads in each size onto all of the pins before I began working with another bead size I am looking forward to making other beaded creations.

I am so excited! Today I received my votive candle holder kit for the beginner safety pin class in the mail. It was wonderful to open something and be able to immediately identify the contents of the package by reading the braille labels. What a luxury! Sighted people just don't know how easy they have it, when it comes to reading labels and identifying things. I can't say enough good things about my little experience. I just loved taking each bag out of the big bag they were all in, reading each label, then looking at the different beads knowing what they were before I touch them. I just can't wait for the class. Those safety pins are positively huge! I have never seen such big ones. Also, I really like being able to order the kit for the class and not have to look around for the beads and other supplies.
So Sunday, hurry up and come! Smile.
