hi Joyce and Paulette,,
thanks so much for the instructions. I have made some progress in my understanding because of the instructions. I have been able to complete a circle and use the two sets of needles. I understand that the two circ needles are connected on two sides by the two 16 stitch rows.
here is where I get confused. for one thing I seem to have circ points popping up all over the place. keeping track of which one is which is a challenge for me. I don't hold my needles up in the air, but keep them in my lap, which may be why this happens to me. I want to understand how to place them so that I can attempt to keep them where they belong. another thing that I am uncertain about is how to attach the circle without twisting the stitches or having a strand of yarn between where the sections join.
I know you have posted that you will be going over things tonight, so I thought I would just write you to try to explain where I need help. I am better explaining things in writing I think.
anyhow, I will be prepared with the first k2 p2 row completed and have the 16 stitches transferred to the second circ. if I could begin here this would be good.
I need the process to click for me and it hasn't happened just yet. but I do have hope that it will.
Cathy
