Ah, yes now I see. Thank you. I actually designed a cable knit hat and scarf
for the loom and had a multiple and edging stitches for it, but didn't know
how to put it into correct terminology. 
So this pattern I made would be a multiple of four plus 2? Or would it be
multiple of four plus four?
I am uncertain because there are four stitches on each edge and then a
cable, but in the center simply two stitches separating the cables from one
another. 

Row 1: K2, P2, 4-st RC, P2, 4-st lc, P2, K2.
