hi my name's janaleen you'll need to get stirling silver posts or hooks 
before you put them in your ears, put them in some sort of disinfenctant 
like detol or whatever you  have in your country waremst wishes janaleen. 
p.s. i'm making earrings out of  little silver bells and shepherd hooks 
they're cuteand then
