That sounds wonderful! It's just what you needed and wanted. I'm so glad
things worked out.

Wow...

My problem is solved!!! Thank you for any thoughts that you had on this
matter for me, but I have to say my problem is solved.

I had to call up and speak to my state affiliate President as she had sent
me an email asking if I would consider applying to be member of our state
government consumer board. When I called to ask about the duties of this
position and accepted applying for it, I asked her about my problem. She
has an updated Packmate with a new battery that she isn't using and was just

thinking about selling it. All I need to do is wait for her to find out
how to remove her files[delete them permanently] and I will get it soon.
It
even has a Braile display on it. Someone is watching over me and thank you

very much.

I have an old Packmate. It is the one that when the battery goes dead you

lose most everything. Now the battery will not hold a charge and they want

like $800 to upgrade it and I think replace the battery. I used this to
interface with Brailer to print things out in Braille. I am a typer.

So my question to everyone is:
1. Should I just get a lap top for taking notes.
2. Is there a note taker with keyboard that would not be too expensive
that
I could do what the Packmate did?
3. $800 is out of my range to upgrade the Packmate, but ...

Any suggestions?

Any one has a note taker that they don't use and might be willing to part
with?
