[Nfb-krafters-korner] LOOM KNITTING: Karius and Baktus Scarf orShawl

Cathy,
I have 3 looms of different sizes, I'm guessing I should use the large size 
if I want this project to fit me. I have never done any project on these 
looms & need to get then out of storage as I would love to make them useful.
Could you suggest how much yarn for each shawl??

number of sessions: 3 (10/11/2013, 10/18/2013)

description: This class will be taught over the telephone. It will teach you
the Karius and Baktus which are two simple scarf or shawl forms that are
made

from side to side, starting at a narrow end and slowly increasing to a
center point. The shawl then decreases gradually to reach the other end. The
Baktus

is made of Stockinette stitches (all knit rows) on the loom, and the Karius
is made of Garter stitches (knit one row, purl one row) on the loom. The
finished

shawl or scarf may be worn in many ways, around the shoulders, around the
neck, with the point to the front, back or side.
