[Nfb-krafters-korner] Kumihimo Question

Do you know how to use the square plate. I use the 8-sided disk. I heard
you can wire-wrap ends and then put end-caps. I'm not sure. I just know I
need to do something because I want to keep this hobby. I heard you can
make belts on the square loom

David,

You can go the traditional route and knot the braid at each end with a
tassel. My first few are like this. Just be sure to get all threads in the
knot.

I've been experimenting with other braid finishing techniques and can share
what I've learned. It is best to use a dab of glue in many cases but it's
not the only way to finish a jewelry project.

What cord are you using? Are you working with the round disc or the square
plate?

Karen

Did anyone ever figure out how one finishes off a braid? I dread the
superglue approach.
